oops...

The Sylvester McCoy appearance and GDL commenting on a TW episode are TOMORROW... see, this is what happens when I blog when not sufficiently caffeinated!

However... I did make it to Gareth David Lloyd and Mark Shepherd this afternoon--no pics, the lighting was NOT conducive, but they were wonderful. Looking forward to tomorrow.

I got my only autograph of the weekend (Gareth); I'm simply not an autograph collector. Once you collect it, you have to put it somewhere safe and in my house that means I'll never see it again... so this time I have to keep it really safe...or at the very least, "not lost"  ;-)  I also picked up a CD from him, which I'm looking forward to listening to.

The m/m author meet and greet was a lot of fun; it was great to put faces to names, and to talk to some of my fellow m/m authors.  We didn't have a lot of readers come by... but tomorrow might be better.  Mostly, it was just nice to meet up. (And I wasn't in a sari, I was so exhausted from the morning--we went to the parade and got a few pictures before the batteries died--at any rate, I was knackered and didn't have the oomph to go back and change.)  Speaking of being knackered, I think I'm going to go take a nap... the same sex in sf panel I want to get to tonight doesn't start until 11:30 pm.

Yes, there is programming that goes that late.  It's not just *a* con, it's *Dragon*Con* !

Thanks, Nik! We really are havnig fun. Frida and Ed are off at the Abney Park concert; I just got back from a same sex relationships in fiction panel discussion.

And passing Mark Shepherd in the hall... I was two feet past him when I realzied who I'd passeed... not that I would have acted all drooling fan girl or anything, but it was cool anyway. He gave a great talk this afternoon with Gareth David Llody.

That sounds way more fun than riding out a tropical storm during what's supposed to be the huge festival of southern decadence, which is all about the rainbows. ;-)

I could tell I've been missing you, I downloaded the sims 3...and barnacle bay...and hidden springs; though a real vacation from my vacation sounds more fun! :-)

Give Frieda and Ed a hug for me!

Nice meeting you! And now that I know about Sari Saturday, I'm totally doing that next year.

The art at the top of your blog -- I hope you'll think "Great minds think alike" and not "That bitch ripped me off" if I ever get my Monster in the woods fic published. :-o

LOL -- I don't think I could *ever* think "the bitch ripped me off" about you, B. (In fact, I can't wait to read that 'Monster in the Woods' fic!)
